Angus Beef Ireland will once again be providing their very lucrative sponsorship of the junior classes in the Aberdeen-Angus section at the upcoming 2019 FBD National Livestock Show that takes place at the Butterfield Estate, Blueball, Tullamore on Sunday, August 11^th. Angus Beef Ireland are providing sole sponsorship for all six of the junior Aberdeen-Angus classes (three male and three female) along with several individual junior championships and the main championship titles of the day, namely the National Livestock Show Junior Aberdeen-Angus champion and the National Livestock Show Senior Aberdeen-Angus champion. The total prize pot sponsored by Angus Beef Ireland stands at an incredible €6000, which includes a 1^st prize winner’s cheque of €500 in each of the individual junior Aberdeen-Angus classes. The generous sponsorship has attracted an increased entry of cattle in the Aberdeen-Angus section year and year and it is expected to have a similarly large showing of cattle this year as well.

Hardcopy postal entries to the National Livestock Show, Tullamore are due to close on Wednesday, July 3^rd with online entries being accepted until Wednesday, July 10^th.
