Auchincrieve herd go under the spotlight ahead of RNAS Spring Show

Ahead of the RNAS Spring Show held at the Thainstone Agricultural Centre on Wednesday 27th of February, the well-known McCombie family who operate the Auchincrieve Aberdeen-Angus herd go under the spotlight in the first of a series of features written by Aberdeen and Northern Marts.

Hailing from Rothiemay, near Huntly, the McCombie family’s Auchincrieve herd have become renowned for producing quality pedigree bulls which are sold privately or at auction. Dating back to 1920, the Auchincrieve Aberdeen-Angus herd is one of the oldest herds in continual existence with over 120 pedigree cows.
