World Angus Forum at the Royal Three Counties Show

16.06.2017

The Royal Three Counties Show kicked-off today at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern on the 16th-18th of June. There are over 90,000 spectators expected at this year’s show, which celebrates the great British countryside and rural communities. The Royal Three Counties Show will be a big part of our World Angus Forum, and we can’t wait to attend with our delegates tomorrow and show them some of the best that Britain has to offer from the agricultural world! On top of all the fun and interesting activity that always takes place at the Royal Three Counties, there will also be the national show of Aberdeen-Angus cattle for attendees to enjoy.

Head of the Shows at the Three Counties, Diana Walton said: “This year’s show has some wonderful new additions including new interactive areas and activities and once again we are welcoming the very best of livestock and equine competitors from all parts of Britain. We have all worked hard to bring the industry’s finest to the Royal Three Counties Show and we’re hoping for another impressive turn out. We cannot wait to throw open our gates and share what is to be a vibrant year for the Royal Three Counties Show.”

The Farming Village which plays host to everything and anything about the world of farming will also be a real treat, and of course, there is food glorious food. Farming and food go hand in hand and the Royal Three Counties promises to sharpen the appetite of the finest foodies, showcasing the very best of the local produce.

The national show of Aberdeen-Angus cattle at last year’s Royal Three Counties show was a great success, where the senior stock sire for Glympton Farms, Glympton Glespin K470 took the breed championship. This year’s Aberdeen-Angus group is set to be a competitive one, and certainly isn’t to be missed. On top of the Aberdeen-Angus show, if you are interested in seeing magnificent animals, rural living and country pursuits, or even just want a fun day out with the family, then the Royal Three Counties Show is the place to be.
