Wedderlie Black Box wins Munster Trophy

The Munster Aberdeen Angus provincial trophy was awarded to Albert and Jennifer DeCogan, Killamuckey, Castlemartyr, Co. Cork for their senior stock sire Wedderlie Black Box J93’ at the recent Bantry Show.

Not stopping there, Black Box J935 was also the Supreme Beef Inter Breed animal of the show – the latest interbreed success in a long line of major titles for this successful bull.

The Reserve Champion rosette in the classes which were judged by John Holloway, Co Westmeath, also went to Albert and Jennifer DeCogan with the senior heifer Tonroe Kate. Kate is sired by noted stock sire Rosemead Karona J957, who was a former three time All Ireland Aberdeen Angus champion for the De Cogan family.
