Albert and Jennifer De Cogan, Killamuckey, Castlemartyr, Co. Cork, secured yet another breed championship at the Carbery Show with their senior stock bull Wedderlie Blackbox J935. Imported from the UK some years ago, Blackbox has compiled an outstanding record on the Irish show circuit having won the Munster Provincial Trophy and the Overall Male Championship at the National Livestock Show, Tullamore during the 2015 season and took the title at Carbery under judge Derek Lovell, Bandon. 

This bull is by Abberton Mr Bionic G441 and is out of Wedderlie Blackbess G436. 

Standing in the reserve championship spot was John and Frank Applebe from Clonakilty, Co. Cork, with their young bull Carrigroe Mr Rebel. Born in September 2015, this one is by Rothosheen Hugo and is out of Carrigroe Fiesty.
