The annual Royal Meath Show will play host to the 2016 All-Ireland Aberdeen-Angus Championships this coming September.

The showpiece event takes place on Sunday September 4th at the showground in Trim and the very best of Aberdeen-Angus cattle from Ireland and Northern Ireland will be competing for the top prizes on the day.

Once again, Univet will be sponsoring the show classes, with a considerable overall total prize fund on offer and special senior and junior championships as well as the supreme All-Ireland championship title.

Several prolific championship winning stock have been confirmed for the season ending Aberdeen-Angus spectacle including some of the class winners and champions from the recent Tullamore Show.
