Retties Lazy Rascal R308 sells in private deal to Kincardine Castle

04.04.2016

Richard and Carol Rettie have this week announced the sale of their 15-month old bull, Retties Lazy Rascal R308, to Robert McNeil’s Kincardine Castle herd.

Sired by Duncanziemere Edwin J 311 and out of Wall Lady Ruth E397, he has a +4 calving EBV.

The management team at Kincardine Castle have said that Richard and Carol have successfully proved the Lady Ruth family to be a top bloodline in the breed. They described Rascal as an excellent addition to the breeding policy of the herd, being structurally correct, having great breed characteristics, easy fleshed and easy calving.

Lazy Rascal was Aberdeen-Angus champion at Kinross Show 2015. His other success have included clinching the junior male championship at the North East of England Calf Show and the junior male championship at The Stars of the Future Calf Show.
