Retties Lady Ruth on winning form at Black Isle and Grantown Shows

18.08.2015

Continuing her fantastic run of form of late, Donald Rankin’s April 2013-born heifer Retties Lady Ruth N228 has taken the top spots at both Black Isle and Grantown Shows.

At Black Isle, this Rawburn Elysium F547 daughter stood top of the line under judge Tom Arnott of the Haymount herd with her herd mate, the May 2014-born Hillfoots Tidy Bee P288 standing reserve to her. This one is by Donald’s stock sire Retties JFK M195 and is out of a Blelack Evor H929 daughter, bred by Jamie Rettie.

Meanwhile at Grantown she took the lead under judge John Lascelles with her herd mate Retties Lady Ruth P280 standing reserve. Lady Ruth P228 then went on to take the native interbreed championship under judge John MacGregor.
