We’d like to take the chance to send out a reminder to all members to please promptly return their list of registered sires that has been sent out, in order to test DNA tissue that we already have for profiling. We would appreciate if all members could ensure they have done so no later than this Sunday 29th July.

We are all very aware that the retail environment is a very challenging one and we as Aberdeen-Angus breeders need to protect our brand which in turn will protect the premium that we enjoy over regular British beef.

To do this, we need your help to ensure that the traceability is there for all to see and is a further step forward in ensuring that the brand is not misused and can be policed against food fraud even more effectively than our current system.
