The Munster Aberdeen Angus Club will run its annual herds competition in early September (with judging provisionally due to take place on the 10th, 11th & 12th of September). There will be prizes for the best herd in the following sections – small herd, medium herd and large herd. Special prizes for the best Aberdeen-Angus stock bull, best bull calf, best heifer calf and best cow family will also be on offer.
The prizes will be presented to the winners at the Club’s Open Day, which will be held at the Clontead Aberdeen-Angus Herd, Ballyginnane, Carrigaline, Co. Cork on Sunday, September 13th, 2015. The herds competition is open to all Aberdeen-Angus breeders in the Munster region and entries are now being taken, please contact club secretary Edward Dudley on 086 3559210 / [email protected] to enter.
