A huge well done from all at the Society to our “Northern Stars” team who competed at the recent National Young Show Stars event at The Three Counties Showground in Malvern. The team consisted of Mark Wattie, Claire Johnstone and Seonaid McLaren and were sponsored by the Society, HW Angus and the Inkpen herd, who kindly loaned cattle for the team. The Society would also like to thank Karen McLaren who took time out to drive the team down to Malvern. 

Over the course of the two days the team competed in stock judging, clipping and presentation, ring craft, public interview and marketing and stand promotion sections.  A huge well done to all the competitors on the day who were involved with promoting Aberdeen-Angus cattle.
