No overall supreme breed championship was awarded at the annual Charleville show, instead a top male and top female prize was presented. Judge Tommy Beirne, Co Leitrim, found his overall female champion in the form of Mogeely Miylo P291 exhibited by Albert and Jennifer DeCogan, Killamuckey, Castlemartyr, Co. Cork.

This heifer has enjoyed an incredible run of form recently, having secured the breed championship at Bandon, Clonakilty and Cork shows already this season. This one was born in January 2014 and is by the former All-Ireland Aberdeen-Angus Champion Rosemead Karona J957.

Albert and Jennifer also secured the overall male championship with their senior stock bull Wedderlie Blackbox J935. This bull is a son of Abberton Mr Bionic G441 and was born in September 2009.
