We had a fantastic response to our chef competition and have narrowed it down to five lucky finalists who will be competing for the opportunity of a lifetime, winning a two-week placement at the Marina Social in Dubai with award-winning Chef of the Year 2016 and 2017 – Tristin Farmer.
The final is taking place on Tuesday 16th May at Braehead Foods in Kilmarnock, where the five finalists will create their dish of choice which they think best compliments Aberdeen-Angus beef, along with creating a canape from a ‘mystery box’ of ingredients.
The Marina Social is a fine dining restaurant described as ‘A pocket of London right in the heart of Dubai’. The winner of our competition will gain some unrivalled experience in one of the best restaurants there is, learning from the very best. The competition has a fantastic selection of finalists from every corner of Scotland and their enthusiasm and experience is going to make for a fantastic day of tasting!
