Retties Lady Ruth R329 ended the summer show season for breeders Richard and Carol Rettie on a high by taking the breed championship at Kinross Show under judge John Graham, Burbank.The couple who have not only had a great show season with their own stock, but with Donald Rankin’s Kilmaluag team.

Born August last year, Lady Ruth R329 is by Duncanziemere Edwin J311 and out of Wall Lady Ruth E397, making her half sister to Donald’s junior cow Lady Ruth N228, which was overall champion at the Royal Highland and Summer National Show. 

Standing reserve was another success story from this season, Stephanie Dick’s heifer Weeton Evora P439. This heifer was champion at Stirling and Haddington and reserve at Drymen and is by Rawburn Black Hawk L261 and is out of the Blelack Equity J127 daughter, Blelack Evora L770.
