Coming home with her biggest prize haul to date for the Denning family of Temple Farm was Haughton Justine Erica L012 who took the breed championship under judge Brian Derrick, then native and overall interbreed championship at North Devon Show.

This January 2011-born Chapelton Eventer E809 daughter is out of the Heath House Plato daughter, Rosemount Justine Erica B296 and was purchased in October last year in Stirling for 7000gns from Whittaker Farms. Under the Denning ownership she’s been shown locally and nationally with great success at Devon, Bath and West and Three Counties, as well as class wins and a reserve female championship at the Summer National Show at Great Yorkshire.

Standing reserve to her was another of this year’s successful show circuit goers, that of the senior stock bull Ballathie Emblem M702, a March 2012-born bull from Messrs D Luxton and Partners. This one is by Rawburn Emblem K127 and is out of Ballathie Evora D319, a Blelack Justin Eric A283 daughter and was champion at Royal Cornwall Show earlier in the season.
