This year’s All Ireland Aberdeen-Angus Championships, which again will be kindly sponsored by Univet Ireland Ltd, Co Cavan, will be held at the Royal Meath Show, Trim on Sunday 4th September.

Entries close strictly on the 19th August. 

All competing animals must be registered from birth in the herd book of the Aberdeen-Angus Cattle Society or the herd book of the Irish Angus Cattle Society.  All young stockperson entrants or their parents or grandparents must be a member of The Aberdeen-Angus Cattle Society or The Irish Angus Cattle Society.

The All Ireland Champion will receive €250 and Veterinary Products sponsored by Univet Ireland Ltd, and the ALL IRELAND PERPETUAL TROPHY, Sash, Rosette and a commemorative medal

Reserve All Ireland Champion will receive £130, Rosette and Veterinary Products sponsored by Univet, and Rosette.

Senior Champion to receive Perpetual Trophy and Rosette presented in memory of the late Mrs S.W. Henderson.

Junior Champion to receive Perpetual Trophy and Rosette presented in memory of the late Mr Larry Crawford.

PRIZES IN EACH CLASS ARE:

1^st   –    €100 plus veterinary products

2^nd  –    € 50 plus veterinary products

3^rd   –   € 40 plus veterinary products

4^th  –    € 20 plus veterinary products 

Senior Stockperson.  Aberdeen Angus animal to be shown by a person who has reached 17 years of age and is not over 25 on the 1/1/16
