The Society would like to pass on their condolences to the friends and family of lifelong stockman Bert Rugg who passed away at home on 4th October with his wife and family by his side.

Beloved husband of Peg, brother to Eva, the late Geordie, Jimmy and Teen, much loved dad of Marilyn, dearest father-in-law of Gordon, loving Grandad of Lorraine, Veronica, Lesa and Donald and inspirational Great-Grandad to Glenn, Emily, Jodie, Robin, James, Beau and Penny. Bert will be sadly missed by many within and outwith the Society. Private interment on Thursday 11th October to be followed by a memorial service at Rescobie Church, at 2.30 p.m., to which all family and friends are respectfully invited.
