Dovecote Park held their annual carcass show last week and winning the Aberdeen-Angus section and overall native championship was Neil Brocklehurst with his home bred Aberdeen-Angus heifer, which was also awarded champion home bred carcase.
This one was by Little Longstone Phantom D003, a Skaill Dividend Y862 son out of a Rawburn Duke daughter. She killed out at 339.3kg grading U4.
Taking the reserve native was the second prize Aberdeen-Angus exhibit from G and E Robisnon in the form of a U-4 carcass weighing 369kg.
