As part of a wider project at the Royal Agricultural University, we are conducting research looking into the aims, establishment, management, termination and the root architecture or herb and legume rich leys.

Particularly we are looking to gather views on farmer/grower experiences of establishing these mixes, what species work well in what situations, what the establishment needs of these mixes are and how management can impact the success or failure of a ley.

Your feedback will help to inform Defra policy and agronomic recommendations from major seed companies.
