The North East Aberdeen-Angus Club’s show unit will be at Banchory Show on Saturday, July 30, and the Turriff Show on Monday, August 1. An excellent entry for both shows – more than 50 at both. We will be barbecuing at both shows so do come and join us. All welcome.

We look forward to welcoming John Tilson to judge at Banchory (and Marion who will be judging horses) but very sorry to hear that Iain McGillivray is unable to judge at Turriff. All best wishes to Iain and a speedy recovery. And thanks to David Lucas from Cheeklaw who has stepped in at the last minute to take over judging duties.

A DATE FOR YOUR DIARY

The North East Aberdeen-Angus Club’s Ruby Anniversary Tour to celebrate the club’s 40th anniversary will take place over the week-end of October 5 – 8, 2012 note – 2012). Please note this is a week later than announced previously – just in case it is a late harvest. The week-end will include a special Ruby Anniversary sale of elite females at Thainstone Centre, Inverurie, which will be open to all herds throughout the UK and Ireland.

Full details of the programme for the week-end will be circulated to all members later this year. WATCH THIS SPACE!

Munster Summer 2009 Newsletter

• Munster Cup, will be presented to Champion Aberdeen Angus exhibited at the Cork Summer Show on Saturday June 20th. The Champion must be exhibited by a member of the Irish Aberdeen Angus Association and registered with this Society.
• Saturday July 25th Youth Development Day and Herd Visit to Tim and Doreen Corridan’s farm in Fedamore, Kilmallock, Co. Limerick start time will be about 11.30.
• Sunday August 30th Herd Visit to the Goulding Herd of Matthew and Rita Goulding, Kilmore, Ballyduff, Co. Kerry.
