YDP finalist receives animal care certificate from past president

Youth Development Programme participant Jess Weeks from Tenterden, Kent, received her certificate for Animal Care and Presentation as part of her completion of the 2009 YDP finals, from breed judge and last year’s Society President William McLaren at the South of England Show this month.

Jess not only completed her workbook, but also took part in countless show activities with Rob and Rachel Bishop of the Warrenho herd on last year’s circuit and will again join the same team for this year’s circuit. She has entered the programme again for this year and hopes to make the final which is to be held in October.
