Warrenho Dalmigavie wins the last ever Royal Show Angus championship

Completing a wonderful day for the Bishop family, Warrenho Dalmigavie has just won the last ever Aberdeen-Angus championship at the Royal Show.
Judge Alistair Clark (Duncanziemere) praised this bull for being long, clean, a good mover and a bull with a great future. As mentioned in previous posts, this one is by Nightingale Dalmigavie.

Warrenho Dalmigavie takes junior championship

Carrying on his winning form to take the overall junior championship was Warrenho Dalmigavie from the Bishop family. Lead out by Rob Bishop, this August 2007 son of Nightingale Dalmigavie stood top spot ahead of Lockerley Hall Farms’ February yearling heifer Lockerley Leeloe.

Mosston Muir Beautiful Mary takes a red rosette

Leading a light class of March-april born yearling heifers was Mosston Muir Beautiful Mary from Tom Rennie. This one is by Warrenho Emperor.
Second went to the Bishop family with Warrenho Ember, while Alex McLaren picked up a third with Mollington Pink Promosa, while Duncan Jeary took fourth with Briston Bramble.

Lockerley Hall win with Lleloe

The next heifer class was won by Lockerley Hall Farms. Lockerley Leeloe is by Idvies Euris and stood ahead of another from the same herd, this time Lockerley Georgina, who is by Lockerley Mr Big.

Jerusalem adding to the red tickets

Winning another red rosette this morning was Brian and Linda Ronan with Jerusalem Pride, a Jerusalem Lord Hermes daughter out of Nightingale Pride of Pershore.
Standing second was Messrs Playfair Farms with Tofts Frances, a daughter of BCC Eileenmere Lad. Third was Glympton Farms with Glympton Erica, who is by Reich Poker, while the Bishop family [...]

Jerusalem Diana takes senior heifer class

Picking up the red rosettes in the first of the heifer classes was Richard Rettie at the lead of Brian and Linda Ronan’s March two year old Jerusalem Diana. She is by Jerusalem Faraday out of Skaill Diana R5.
Taking second was Glympton Farms with Glympton Miss Bishamptom who is by Cardona Edrom.

Strongest class so far won by Angus Stovold

The cow class has for sure been the strongest so far for Mr Fraser, as Angus Stovold has just won with Rosemead Karlotta. She is January 2003 and is by Lockerley Mere Boy.

Warrenho takes junior and overall male title

The Bishops have just dominated the male judging this morning by taking the junior male spot and overall male championship with Warrenho Dalmigavie.
Taking the reserve junior male spot was Angus Stovold with Rosemead Epaminondas, while Alex McLaren and Family took the reserve overall male champion spot.

Hawstead Lodge continues winning ways

The second of the junior bull classes has just been won by Andrew Brown with Hawstead Lodge Bury Mac, by Blelack Blackberet.
Taking the second ticket was Angus Stovold with Rosemead Epistle, this one is by Wedderlie Kardinal.
