Much admired Penguin Dolly takes cow class
Many ringsiders have commented this one could go all the way today and she has started her quest well. Penguin Dolly from Bob Lane has won the cow class, this April 2003 cow with calf at foot is by Penguin Toney Bear and is out of Dolly W22 of Penguin.

Duncanziemere Extasy on winning form
Leading the way in the fifth female classes was Alistair Clark with Duncanziemere Extasy F243, this September 2006 female is by Duncanziemere Edwin out of Duncanziemere Extasy C108.

Belhaven Ruisseau takes junior female champion
In the junior female championship, Messrs Gilmour’s heifer Belhaven Ruisseau has won the top spot, with Rae Gireve’s Carlhurlie Quswali coming through to take the reserve spot.

Perkhill Black Majic takes a red ticket
The smallest class so far with just two heifers in it was won by Mr A Davie with Perkhill Black Magic G003, a Rosemount Black Night daughter out of Whinbush Black Midnight D059.
Standing second was Messrs Bruce and Partners’ Logie Miss Kayo G629, this Ocotber 2007 born female is by Logie Darius.

Drumdrow Elsa wins an incredibly tough third class

Belhaven Ruisseau takes second heifer class
Taking first prize in the second class of heifers (born on or between 1st January and 31st March 2008) isMessrs J Gilmour and Co with Carol Rettie at the lead of Belhaven Ruisseau H062. This February 2008 heifer is by Vermillon Payweight out of Prairelane 8116 Rosebud.

Aberdeen-Angus class judging underway at the Highland
The first class is underway at the Royal Highland and so far this morning Rae Grieve has been in the winning tickets!

Well we’re all set for a jam packed Highland Show today in the Aberdeen-Angus judging rings, with only 21 entries not forward out of 110.
