Complete Murk Esk herd for sale
It is with much reluctance and sadness that Clare and Christopher Carr, Whitby, North Yorkshire, are selling their small Murk Esk herd of traditional pedigree Aberdeen-Angus.
The closed herd comprises 12 cows with calves at foot, ranging from four year olds right up to a few mature cows who still have calves at foot at 14 years old. There are also four two year old heifers and four yearling heifers for sale. All the females stem from two Grimston Fen foundation females, with the younger females of the herd having Yeardsley and Dacre breeding behind them.
Cows have been running with three year old stock bull Bon Lea Envigor F048, a son of Hurdcott Estimator A018 out of Wedderlie Elneve B372. Heifer and bull calves are also on the ground by this sire.
Clare and Christopher will happily split the herd, but would prefer if they went as one group. For more information or to arrange a viewing of the stock, please contact Clare Carr on 01947 896391 or email orchardfarm@murkesk.co.uk
