Results from the South East of England Club’s herd competition are in with the competition being divided in to three sections with some 16 herds entering
Rosemead take South of England Angus championship
Taking the championship at last week’s South of England Show was the April 2008-born heifer Rosemead Elizabeth H850
Belhaven Dramatize wins Surrey County Show
Taking the championship under judge Gayle Bersey from the Lynher Valley herd of Cornwall was Robert Martin with his May 2008-born bull Belhaven Dramatize. The reserve championship went to the Stovold family with their March-born yearling bull Rosemead Black Peter.

Bristol Aberdeen-Angus tops at 3350gns for red bull
A small offering of Aberdeen-Angus males and females at Bristol Sales Centre saw a strong demand for red genetics and trade topping at 3350gns for bulls and 1850gns for heifers.
Oakchurch Aberdeen-Angus dominate Southern England Calf Show
It was a day for celebration for the Price family of Hereford as calves from their Oakchurch herd dominated the championship line up at the Southern England Calf Show at the weekend.
Bristol Aberdeen-Angus sale tops at 3000gns
Today’s Southern autumn show and sale of 60 head of Aberdeen-Angus males and females, held at Bristol Sales Centre, saw trade peak at 3000gns for an April 2008 born heifer from Archie Smith-Maxwell, Upton-Upon-Severn, Worcestershire.
