Ossory Show is a clean sweep for Luddenmore herd

It was a clean sweep in the Aberdeen-Angus classes at Ossory Show in Co Laois, Republic of Ireland on Saturday as Michael Sheehan’s Luddenmore herd took home most of the rosettes.

In the cow classes he took a first prize with Fullam Evening Tinge (sired by Fullam Mr Bud A113), while Duncanziemere Jody (sired by Newcairnie Pastor Z006) took a first in the in-calf heifer class, before going on to take the overall breed champion spot ahead of the first prize cow who took reserve.

Michael also picked up a first with the heifer calf Luddenmore Evening Tinge (by Dalrene Cruz) and a first with the young bull calf Luddenmore Raven Eric, while his other in calf heifer Luddenmore Rosa Erica stood second place behind Jody.

In the young bull class it was a change of face picking up the red rosettes as Pat Meehan took first prize with a September 08 bull sired by Buffalos Conclusive.
