Kingsbrompton Evitress wins Gillingham and Shaftesbury Show
Beating stiff competition (including this year’s Royal Show champion), Colin Hutchings was out in force again with his successful two year old heifer Kingsbrompton Evitress, by Curzon Endeavour to win Gillingham & Shaftesbury show.
This time, she caught the eye of judge David Batch, stock man at Lockerley Hall Farms. Taking reserve champion rosettes was this year’s Royal Show champion Warrenho Dalmigavie from the Bishop family. This young bull is by Nightingale Dalmigavie.
Colin then went a couple of stages further during the course of the day as he picked up the interbreed pairs championship and took the reserve interbreed championship under judge Charlie McLean.
