It’s a Balmachie day at the National Calf Show
Leading the overall yearling animal championship and going even better to secure the overall Aberdeen-Angus National Calf Show championship was Balmachie Black Bear H050. Born January 2008, he is a son of Rawburn Lord Ross C216 out of blelack Blackbird E350. He will be offered for sale in Stirling next February.

Taking reserve senior championship was John Elliot with Elliot Dam Buster H852 who is another Lord Ross son, this time out of Elliot Delia D002.

Well all being well he will be forward in February at Stirling so watch this space – quality was very high across the board at the show and the event itself was a great success! Will you be over for Smithfield John to see your girl BB strut her stuff in the ring?

yes sorry about that – she’s entered for the claf class but I would say she will have to be moved up to the lightweight heifers – she’s still looking her stunning self!
