First show for seven years brings success for Netherton

Taking the top honours at this year’s Braco Show was Netherton Keystone H440 a 19 month old bull shown for the first time this year and exhibited by W and D Mclaren, Netherton, who were showing at their first summer show in seven years.

This young bull is by the Canadian bull Youngdale Touchdown 36M and out of Netherton Karama E368 who was female champion at the National Calf show in 2006. Keystone is destined for Stirling bull sales in October.

Taking the reserve championship spot was Kincardine Castle Pam C318 shown by Robert McNeil. This six year old cow is sired by Fordel Eisenhower Y423 and out of a previous show cow for Mr McNeil, Kincardine Castle Pam A081. Pam C318 was also reserve champion at Stirling Show earlier in the year.
