Duncanziemere heifer wins for Sheahan family at Midleton

Winning the Aberdeen-Angus classes at Ireland’s Midleton Show at the weekend was Duncanziemere Jody G263 from the Sheahan family, Co Limerick.

This two year old heifer, bred by Alistair Clark, Cumnock, Ayrshire, is by Newcairnie Pastor Z006 and out of Duncanziemere Jody Y280, who goes back to TLA Northern Samurai.

She may have won earlier in the week at Tralee, but Jesana Western Babe from Co Cork-based Eustace Burke, had to settle for reserve spot behind Jody. Sired by Shankhill Max, this 2003 bred cow with calf at foot is out of Mayo Marie.
