Belhaven Ruisseau on winning form again

Winning Drymen show was the two year old heifer Belhaven Ruisseau H062 for John and Tina Gilmour. This powerfull, well fleshed heifer brought out by Richard and Carol Rettie is by the top American bull Vermilion Payweight and out of the prolific donor cow Prailielane Rosebud 0011 who is the dam of many of the breeds leading cattle. Ruisseau H062 was Champion last week at Fife show where she also went on to win the Interbreed, she was also reserve champion at Ayr show earlier in this month. Ruisseau also went on to be placed Reserve Interbreed Champion under Interbreed Judge David Leggat of United Auctions yesterday.

Reserve Champion was Netherton Fleur D334 from Messrs W & D McLaren.This five year old cow is sired by Netherton Royal Sovereign A072 and out of Netherton Fleur Y298  who was sold for a then Breed Female Record price of 20,000gns. Fleur D334 was shown with a March Bull calf sired by Netherton Big Edition H460.

Netherton Fleur D334 and her 3 year old daughter Netherton Fleur G413 sired by The Moss Mr Eshton D409 and shown with a May heifer calf sired by Netherton Big Edition H460 went on to be placed Reserve Interbreed Pairs Champion.
