Aberdeen-Angus wins interbreed at Dunster Show

Leading the way in the interbreed rings at today’s Dunster Show under judge John May was Colin Hutchings’ two year old heifer Kingsbrompton Evitress yet again who has been on fantastic show winning form this year.

Fresh from her win at Gillingham and Shaftesbury the other day, she won the Angus classes under judge Mike Spooner. Colin also took the reserve champion spot in the breed classes with his stock bull Wedderlie Kentucky Excel. This April 2006 born son of Wedderlie Eriexad goes back to TC Stockman and was champion Aberdeen-Angus at the Three counties show earlier in the year.

In the interbreed calf classes, Gayle Bersey stood third leading the way for the native breeds, standing behind a Simmental and a British Blue calf.
