Coul Priority takes reserve native title at Staffs County Show

Aberdeen-Angus classes may not have been scheduled at this week’s Staffs County Show but that didn’t stop the breed picking up some of the red tickets.

Having won the Any Other Native breed classes, Peter Nash’s February 2007 bull Coul Priority G580 then went on to take the reserve native interbreed championship, just being pipped to the post by a Hereford bull. Bought in Perth last October from James Arnott, Priority is by Netherton Figo C244 out of Mushroom Pandita Y085.

The breed continued it’s success in the commercial beef classes, where B and CE Wilson’s Aberdeen-Angus cross heifer Black Bettie took top honours.
