Taking his first breed championship of the year under judge Michael Smith, Lawsonford, at Omagh Show for Sam and Sarah Matchett was Carrigroe Fred
Bon Lea Ellisand wins North Yorkshire Show
Taking the championship at the North Yorkshire County Show on the 20th June under judge Mr F Reveley was Bon Lea Ellisnad from the Brooks family.
Ives family takes championship at East of England Show
Leading the way under judge Wanda Hobbs of the Ellin and Wedderlie herds from Berwickshire, was Mr T W Ives and Sons, Winslow, Buckinghamshire, with their yearling bull Winslow Lord Harry
North East England Club launches new website
The North East England Aberdeen-Angus Club has just launched it’s new website for the club, just in time for the club’s main show the Great Yorkshire Show which is to be held next month on the 13th – 15th July.

Irish rugby player wins Armagh Show with Logie bred bull
The recent Armagh Show saw some pretty tough Aberdeen-Angus classes with overall champion going to H Mills and Irish rugby legend John Best’s senior bull Logie Lustre F473
Deveron Jasper Eric wins Macroom Show
After an absence of 25 years, prominent Aberdeen Angus Breeders the De Cogan’s, Taits and Burkes turned up to support the revival of Macroom Show held on the 7th June
Westellen Black Belinda wins Belgooly Show
Belgooly, a small village situated between Cork and Kinsale, saw the biggest turn of cattle for its Annual Show held on 5th June.
Colin Hutchings wins at Royal Cornwall Show with senior bull
Taking his second Aberdeen-Angus championship of the major shows this year was Colin Hutchings of Dulverton, Somerset, who stood champion at last week’s Royal Cornwall Show with his April 2006-born bull Wedderlie Kentucky Excel F176
