Water End herd does the double at North East Club calf show
Victor and Paula Dobson’s Water End herd recorded a memorable double at last weekend’s North East England Aberdeen-Angus Club calf show, with their heifer calf Water End Miss Betsy L090 taking the female and overall championship and their bull calf Water End Evolution L095 taking the male and reserve overall title.
Black Buddy wins Allams Angus championship
Flying the flag at the Allams Fatstock Show in Northern Ireland in December was Sam and Sarah Matchett with their Angus cross steer Our Black Buddy by Lisduff Dinky
Record entries for 2010 south west club herd competition
A record entry of 27 herds entered the 2010 south west of England herd competition with judge Richard Ashenden travelling from Wiltshire right down to Cornwall.
