Graeme Willox on winning form at Keith Show

18.08.2016

Taking top spot at Keith Show under judge Jim Boreland and then going on to win the Scottish Beef Supreme Cattle Championship – a prize totally unique to Keith Show which is open to any beef animal that has won a show championship in Scotland – was Graeme Willox with his five year old cow Mosston Muir Ingrid L289. By Mosston Muir Elgin J232, this one was shown with a January-born Netherallan Peter Pershore E052 bull calf, Cardenwell Issac S093. This outfit was champion at Echt, New Deer and Banchory Show earlier in the season.

Taking reserve was the Wattie family with Tonely Ester, a February-born yearling heifer by the stock sire Blelack Evor and out of a home bred female. This one has previously been reserve female at Echo and Turriff.
