29.03.2016

The annual high health status sale of pedigree registered Aberdeen-Angus bulls will take place on Wednesday, April 6th, 2016 at Bandon Mart, Bandon, Co. Cork.

The sale will comprise of approximately 25 pedigree registered Aberdeen-Angus bulls with each bull being TB tested, tested free of Johne’s Disease, tested free of IBR, tested BVD virus negative and also vaccinated against BVD, IBR and Leptospirosis. In addition, the dam of each bull entered in the sale has also tested free from Johne’s disease.

This sale is the only one of its kind in Ireland and offers a fantastic opportunity to acquire a new stock bull from specially selected herds with a proven and established animal health status.

The sale also boasts many easy calving bloodlines with many of the bulls having calving ease figures well under the breed average, proving ideal for maiden dairy heifers.

The Munster Aberdeen-Angus Club will offer a total buyers premium of €500 to be split between the purchasers of the top two priced bulls.
