Rull Evita L127 on winning form at Mid Devon Show

30.07.2015

The Mid Devon show was held at its new showground at Tiverton this weekend, where Aberdeen-Angus judge Paul Westaway found his champion in the form of Ed and Claire Jones cow Rull Evita L127. Evita calved twins in April and is no stranger to success having won numerous prizes in previous years including first at the 2014 National. She sells on Oct 2nd as part of the Rull dispersal sale at Carlisle.

Reserve female and breed champion was Andrew and Judith Denning’s Temple Pyschic Nessie N549, a two year old heifer with calf at foot. This one was a class winner at Great Yorkshire Show earlier in the month.

Evita went on to win the native championship in the interbreed, while Grace Denning took the championship in the beef young handlers.
