Idvies sell in private deal to Shadwell Estate 

Just prior to the Stirling Bull Sales, the Fraser family sold Idvies Eland N596 to Shadwell Estate Co Ltd. By the current senior herd sire Shadwell Black Broughton K485, he’s out of Idvies Eliza J410, an Aynho Rossiter Eric daughter. 

Shadwell Herd Manager Robert Clarke said “Eland was the perfect choice for Shadwell, he has total balance and correctness, a great top and back end and re-introduces the blood lines of Black Broughton and the Rosa Erica family back into the herd.”

Whittaker After Shock H913 sells to Glympton Farms 

Earlier in the year, Whittaker and Co Farms sold Haughton After Shock N090 to Glympton Farms. This Blelack Blackrod J160 son is out of the Lockerley Rocky E501 daughter, Lockerley Abbey H913 and carries a milk figure of +17, a TI of +37 and a Sri of +50.
