The Royal Three Counties Show and West Mercia Angus club are very much looking forward to welcoming friends old and  new for the National Angus Show next week at Malvern. The show has attracted a record 117 entries and there is a busy week planned, the programme of events is detailed below  :

Wednesday 11th

Cattle can arrive from noon into Royal Three Counties

 Thursday 12th

One of the best herds in the world is open for visits, Nightingale Angus is less than 30 mins from the showground.

Friday 13th.

Angus Classes judging from 8.30am, judge is Tom Arnott from Haymount and with 117 Angus entered from 26 exhibitors it is going to be a great show.

After Judging: Cheese & Wine party on the Angus stand, try some stunning local cheeses matched with wines and toast the champion.

 4.30pm: Beef Young Handlers competition, which is open to all exhibitors, entry on arrival at the show and will be  judged by Paul Westaway

 7.30 for 8pm: Angus exhibitors and friends social evening.

Three Counties have given us the use of the members pavilion for supper. Supper will be 8oz Angus Sirloin steaks with all the trimmings, followed by dessert. Tables of 10 will all have wine on the tables, plus there is a pay bar. Tickets are £6 per person,  please call Kirsty Westaway on 07831 517622 to book/reserve tickets.

Saturday 14th

Morning: Interbreed groups and championships including the Burke Trophy, with the final judging in the main ring with commentary from Adam Henson. The Interbreed judge is Mr A Owen and Mrs K Adam is judging the Burke Trophy

Lunchtime :Royal Three Counties Beef Calf show, lots of Angus calves entered and Colin Hutchins is judging.

 4.30 Beef Young Handlers: Once again open to all exhibitors, entry on arrival at the show and judge us Andy Fraser,
