Leading the way in the Aberdeen-Angus classes at Devon County Show this week under judge Kevin Moores of The Moss herd was Paul and Kirsty Westaway with their senior herd sire Nightingale Ernest M643. Born February 2012, he’s by Nightingale Poundman C183 and is out of Nightingale Enchantress H463, a HF Databank 2H daughter. He was shown successfully last year winning his class at the National Show at Three Counties and was male champion at the Bath and West Show last year as well.  

Completing their double win by taking the female and reserve overall championship was Melview Georgie J017. Georgie has been on the Melview show team since 2010 and was also a class winner at last year’s National. Born January 2009, she’s by Nightingale Kruncher D210 and is out of Tegsnose Geraldine C095, a Rawburn Transformer daughter.
