Aberdeen-Angus reserve interbreed pairs champions

Adding to yesterday’s win, the champion Aberdeen-Angus bull Blelack Elijah teamed up with John and Ann Henning’s second prize cow Drumcorn Ergessa to take the reserve interbreed pairs championship this afternoon underneath judge Donald Biggar, Chapelton. They were pipped to the post by the young Limousin pair.

Taking the overall Aberdeen-Angus championship this morning under Graeme Massie was Owen McFadden and Angela Armstrong’s April 2007-born bull Blelack Elijah G747.

Well it’s a cold start to the first day of Balmoral Show, but we’re pleased to report it’s not raining!! Judging in the Aberdeen-Angus section kicks off at 10.15 this morning with Graeme Massie of the Blelack herd in charge of proceedings.
