NI Club presents charity cheque for £2000
Congratulations to the Northern Ireland Aberdeen-Angus Club who at their annual dinner presented Sandra McIlroy with a cheque for £2000 in aid of the Brain Injury Support Unit at Erne Hospital. FcFadzean family win Aberdeen-Angus classes at Winter Fair
Coming through as champion of the Aberdeen-Angus cattle forward at the Royal Highland Winter Fair was George and Aileen McFadzean with Dangerous Drummond an April born steer weighing 565kg. This one is by Netherton Figo out of Ladywell Ella A184.

Duncanziemere Jaguar takes Scottish National Calf Show championship
Having been tapped out as male champion, Alistair Clark’s January 2009-born bull calf Duncanziemere Jaguar J306 has just taken the overall championship. This one is by Aln Governor out of his famous Jody line.
Taking the reserve overall championship was the reserve male champion Eastfield four Stroke J003 from Ewan Brewis.

With just one calf in the senior bull calf section it was no wonder Richard and Carol Rettie won with Culty Braggan Majestic H881.

First time success at Ingleston for Gordon Brookes

Netherton win first class of heifers
Taking the red rosette home in the first class of heifers at Ingleston was Messrs W and D McLaren with Netherton Red Essence H483. This striking heifer stood first at the English National Calf Show at Borderway Agri-Expo in October and is by Red DMM Traction 98R out of Red Sten Essence 42G.
